Hannah moved to Ottawa from Bridgewater, Nova Scotia in 2009 to study at the University of Ottawa where she completed a 4-year Honours Bachelor of Health Sciences with a minor in Public Administration. Shortly after receiving this degree she decided to furthered my education by focusing in Traditional Chinese Medicine. My Acupuncture Practitioner diploma included 2112 hours of class and clinic time at the International Academy of Health Education. After graduating she successfully passed the Pan-Canadian Examinations for acupuncture and she is now a Registered Acupuncturist through the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario.
Hannah is now excited to join the Revivelife™ team.
Why I Love What I do
Hannah loves interacting with people. She also loves discovering how everything is connected. Practicing acupuncture allows her to work with people, and help them see how disease is more than specific symptoms. Sometimes you have to step back and evaluate the bigger picture to see why dis-ease occurred in the first place. Hannah is motivated by watching patients find health and wellness, and seeing them learn how to find more balance through lifestyle to maintain the wellness they have achieved.
When not at work, Hannah can be found outdoors hiking, dragon boating, or trying a new sport or activity. When she have an extra few days off she loves going to her home in Nova Scotia to visit family and enjoy the beaches, or take off with a backpack to explore more of the world and all the adventure it has to offer!
