LYME & CO-INFECTIONS
Thrive, Enjoy Life & Live
Early symptoms of those with Acute Lyme Disease may include fever, headache, fatigue, and 70-80% of the time a “bulls – eye” rash.1 Later symptoms of Chronic Lyme or Post-Treatment Lyme Disease Syndrome (PTLDS) may involve the joints, heart, and central nervous system leading to pain, numbness, cognitive decline, mood changes.1 Optimal care requires an integrative approach for long-lasting healing.2

The Revivelife Approach
Lyme disease is caused by the bacteria borrelia that is spread by ticks and other insects.3 Standard treatment involves the use of antibiotics for 2-4 weeks.3 Chronic Lyme or PTLDS requires multi-factorial approaches to address how the body reacts to the bio-toxins produced by the infection.
At Revivelife we use advanced testing beyond Lyme testing offered in Ontario. We believe that it is when the overall health of an individual is compromised one is susceptible of contracting the microbe vs only the germ theory. Research shows that those with Lyme disease have a dys-regulated immune system and terrain increasing the risk of Lyme as well as it’s common co-infections such as Ehrlichia, Babesia and Bartonella.
Key successful integrative protocols for Lyme disease and co-infections involve the strategic combination of approaches that address the terrain, microbe(s), microbiome, inflammation and immune modulation therapies including:
Modified Citrus Pectin (MCP): Published clinical studies demonstrate that MCP safely removes toxic metals such as lead, mercury and arsenic from the body without removing essential minerals. MCP also reduces inflammation, biofilms and promotes immunity by blocking a pro-inflammatory protein called galectin-3.4,5
Pure Honokiol: This is derived from Magnolia officinalis bark that is an anti-inflammatory and that can cross the blood-brain barrier to address the Lyme or co-infection bacteria that burrow within the tissues of the brain to relieve neurological symptoms.6-9
IV Nutrients & Glutathione: IV Nutrients infuse the body with vitamins vital to energy, mood and overall health. Vitamin C focuses on supporting immunity and inflammation while glutathione helps the body neutralize and excrete toxins.
