LIVE CELL ANALYSIS TESTING

Live blood analysis is a practice where we
examine a small drop of your blood under a
high-resolution microscope that is connected to a screen magnifying a single living drop of blood, to 1,000 times or more. Although diseases
themselves cannot be seen under a microscope,
live blood work allows your practitioner to gain
information about the terrain, the condition of red
blood cells, risk of free radical damage, digestive
weaknesses, microbial imbalances, select risk of
nutritional deficiencies (B12, folic acid), uric acid
crystals and the risk for gout.

assessment techniques to gain insights towards
your overall health. *Note live blood cell microscopy should not be used as a stand-alone
assessment or diagnostic tool. It is an
experimental device valid for research purpose
only.

We recommend live-cell testing to gain information about your overall health and assess your progress to therapy recommendations.
The live-cell analysis cannot diagnose disease but can give insights into functional weaknesses in the body that increase the risk of disease.
- Dehydration – low energy, poor concentration
- Acidity – poor health
- Digestive Weakness – reduced enzymes can be linked to increased food intolerances or allergies, and poor nutrition.
- Poor Fat Intake or Digestion
- Fermentation – from too many carbohydrates or sugars
- Microbial Imbalances – rashes, lack of energy
- Poor Red Blood Cell Formation – reduced oxygenation and energy
- Reduced Motility of White Blood Cells – may impact immunity
- Increased Basophils – a sign of an allergic response
- Plaque, platelet aggregation – poor blood flow
- Liver Stress or Congestion
- Bowel Toxicity
- Risk of Hormonal Imbalances – which may be associated with mood swings, weight concerns, fatigue, insomnia, and more.
During the procedure, a health history is obtained from the client and reviewed. Following the initial interview, a single drop of blood is taken from a finger with a sterile lancet and placed on a microscope slide, which is then quickly covered with a cover slide for viewing. The slide is then viewed under a powerful microscope and the magnified image can be seen.
Usually, clients will have an initial visit, and then follow recommendations for at least 6-8 weeks before following up. Once health is stabilized, the analysis need only be done minimally once to twice a year to ensure health is being maintained.
No. Live blood analysis is NOT a diagnostic tool. A session will certainly identify areas of weakness, however, a specific medical diagnosis will not be made. Live blood analysis is used to assist individuals in balancing health, not labeling illness.
Your Naturopath or Nurse Practitioner will help assess which test is right for you, including an analysis of the most cost-efficient path of testing. We recommend a New Patient Visit with one of our Naturopathic Doctors for the most comprehensive approach to your health or the live-cell test and consult.
With traditional blood testing, preserved blood samples are sent to a lab where it is analyzed for cell counts and chemical composition. With live blood analysis, we are viewing your blood within 20 minutes, while the cells are living. This means that not only can we see how many white blood cells you have, but how they are functioning. This gives us insights of how your blood is behaving within your body and what changes can be recommended to improve your functional health.
+Is this test covered under insurance plans?
Third-party insurance companies may cover all or a portion of your consultations. The live-cell analysis may be covered under third-party insurance plans under in-clinic tests. Please check with your individual provider for details and how to submit claims.
+How are functional live cell imbalances treated?
Your Revivelife clinician will review all findings, including other diagnostics and your health history to create a tailored plan based on your results. Your recommendations may include menu changes, nutrients, vitamins, minerals, herbs, probiotics, prebiotics, stress management, and or acupuncture. Additional testing including food sensitivities, health & hormone, and or organic acid test may be considered to further investigate the potential causes of increased health concerns.
We recommend a New Patient Visit for the most comprehensive approach to your health or a Pre-Lab Visit for a quick snapshot before lab testing and a Post-Lab consult to review your results and receive your tailored health plan. To Book, an appointment click here.
