Training & Credentials
Jenny graduated from the University of Ottawa Bachelor of Science Nursing degree program in 2009 and shortly after began to specialize in skin and wound healing. In 2013, she completed a Master of Clinical Science in Wound Healing which led her to provide skin and wound consultations and education, interprovincially and internationally. Quickly she realized she was still not able to close the access to care gap just as a wound care specialist. As a result, she decided to obtain her Master of Nursing – Nurse Practitioner degree from the University of Manitoba in 2017. After a couple years in primary care, she quickly came to realize another gap in practice, Women’s health, access to therapeutic injections, acne and hyperpigmentation management. As a result she obtained her Medical Aesthetics certification from THMA in 2021 and started attending women specific education events and conferences.

Career Highlights
Jenny has over 15yrs of experience as a nurse, and has had the opportunity to travel interprovincially and internationally to provide wound education to nurses and physicians. Over this time she has had the opportunity to develop specialised knowledge and skill in women’s health, dermatology, therapeutic injections, and preventative medicine. She is always attending educational events, conferences and completing certifications to maximize her education and ensure she is providing the most evidence-based care possible.
