Health & Hormone Blood Test
At Revivelife we recommend that those who wish to take charge of their health undergo yearly integrative optimal health testing as a part of a general wellness and longevity program. Health and hormone testing is a more in-depth assessment of your body. It includes additional biomarkers that are not included in your traditional medical doctor’s lab tests and are evaluated with optimal ranges versus normal ranges for optimal wellness.
Optimal health is about investing in yourself every day with good nutrition, living a lifestyle that promotes self-care and preventive lab testing. Taking charge of your wellness plan is crucial for anyone in pursuit of a long and healthy life. Basic blood testing that is included under government health plans (OHIP) and performed at your routine traditional medical checkups may miss many test results that are not optimal or key biomarkers that are linked to your health symptoms and concerns. This includes hormones that impact your energy, brain function, mood, and overall health. Comprehensive in-depth testing is available that can be customized to you.
Integrative assessment is also key to defining a wellness plan. Conventional blood testing that addresses “normal reference ranges” vs “optimal reference ranges” may not highlight subtle health concerns. 1-3 Most often lifestyle disease doesn’t happen overnight but is linked to slow and steady changes that we can measure and monitor with in-depth lab testing. Addressing what are optimal ranges for you is vital to longevity medicine.

How is this test different than the test I get at my medical doctor’s office?
The Health & Hormone Blood test panel at Revivelife is different than the blood tests that you get at your traditional medical doctor’s office in two ways
- More Comprehensive – Additional biomarkers are added that are important to evaluate to keep your health plan in prevention versus waiting for the disease.
- Optimal Targets – Optimal ranges are assessed vs normal ranges. Many health symptoms and conditions are linked to the high and low normal ranges that are reported on your traditional medical doctor’s testing. In addition, an in-depth review of your lifestyle, health and other aspects of what defines your optimal levels are taken into consideration.
