POWER FOODS TO MAKE WITH WHAT’S ON HAND
As I take this time to sift through what I have and what I need to get for fresh produce for the next week. I’d like to share some of my favourite recipes that use a combination of what you have and continue to try a few new recipes each week.
Nourishing food is sometimes hard to find time for. Now with more time at home. Enjoy recipes that use things right from your pantry and create a menu plan that you can use for busier times. Get cooking with these 6 nourishing and immune enhancing power recipes!
Recipe 1 – Pot of Gold Latte
Power Foods: Curcumin
This Power Food Latte is rich in turmeric that is a wellness wonder. Turmeric is the spice that gives curry its yellow colour and has been used in India for thousands of years as a spice and medicinal herb. Turmeric contains compounds called curcuminoids, the most important of which is curcumin.
