INSURANCE
Private Insurance: Many private insurance companies cover integrative services. A portion or all of your consultation (Naturopathic, Chiropractic, Osteopathic, Nutrition, Acupuncture or Counseling) may be covered under your private insurance company plan. Most insurance companies do NOT cover lab testing or supplements. Please check with your provider prior to your visit for your individual coverage. Currently OHIP does not cover Naturopathic, Nurse Practitioner, Nutrition, Chiropractic or Osteopathic visits.
Medical Expenses: Naturopathic care is recognized in Ontario under medical practitioner for claiming medical expenses for tax purposes. The Naturopathic products are not eligible for deduction, only consultations/services. Please see the CRA website for more details.
