Training & Credentials
Shannon completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Western Ontario in 2008 before returning to Northern Ontario to practice in a broad range of clinical contexts. She completed a Masters of Nursing in Advanced Nursing Practice through Athabasca University in 2016 and holds her Nurse Practitioner license in Ontario with a Primary Health Care specialty certificate. She currently holds academic appointments with Cambrian College School of Nursing, Laurentian University, and the Northern Ontario School of Medicine. She has completed a broad range of professional development related to Concussion, Sports Medicine, and Bio-identical Hormone Replacement. She currently participates and publishes research in process improvement in healthcare systems, inter-professional care, and concussion care strategies

I enjoy supporting each of our journeys to wellness. Every person is unique and requires us to integrate multiple methods to restore balance and an individual approach to health.

Outside of work, she shares her spare time with her husband and two children enjoying the outdoors.
