What goes into a custom formula?Your custom formula is designed by health care professionals based on your goals, questionnaire, and if selected lab testing. It may contain a combination of vitamins (i.e. A, B-vitamins, C, D, E, K), minerals (i.e. calcium, chromium, magnesium, zinc), amino acids (i.e. L-glutamine, tyrosine), antioxidants (selenium, CoQ10, alpha-lipoic acid, resveratrol), and or herbs (i.e. ashwagandha, turmeric) to fill in your nutritional gaps and optimize your health. We use a protein base for our powdered formulas. Capsule options without protein are available. What about the quality?We select only the best and purest pharmaceutical-grade ingredients in their most bio-available NATURAL form to maximize absorption and bioavailability. We use Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). Vegan option is available. Our products are non-GMO, gluten-free, free from artificial colours, flavours, or preservatives. We use clean ingredients and can tailor products to be allergen or intolerant free to those with allergies or sensitivities. Common off-the shelf supplements commonly contain synthetic ingredients and non-active versions of nutrients that are less expensive but not well utilized. Next, we will look at which foods are right for you by testing for your unique food intolerances and which nutrients you may be missing based on our clinically proven Health Advisor Questionnaire (HAQ). Once we have your assessments, we can build a plan. Your menu recommendations will be family friendly, easy to prepare and include ready-made purchase options. Now what’s a plan without having support? Not to worry we have you covered! You will be supported with regular coaching visits and weekly virtual coaching videos. How do I know which foods are right for me?Food intolerance testing will help us understand how your body responds to food and how to eat optimally for your health. The IgG ELISA blood spot test is a comprehensive panel of 96 foods including common menu items such as dairy, gluten, wheat, eggs and more. Abnormal immune responses to foods have been linked to challenges with athletic performance, energy, digestion, inflammation, hormones and brain function.
