Revive Your Life!
THE REVIVELIFE APPROACH
Our practitioners know that your quality of health determines many successes in your life, including both personal and professional. Our natural approach with our hormone professionals includes discovering the root cause and supporting youthful levels of hormones to support overall wellbeing. Natural approaches include:
- Antioxidants: The antioxidants vitamin A, E and selenium that have been shown to boost testosterone production in men.1
- Nettle Root: Lignans in nettle root may prevent sex hormone binding globulin (SHBG) from binding testosterone, boosting free testosterone.2,3 Nettle root also helps to relieve benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) symptoms.4
- L-carnitine: This amino acid derivative along with testosterone improve libido but carnitine is more effective than testosterone in improving erectile dysfunction, depression, and general sexual wellbeing.5
- Hormone Therapy: Bio-identical hormone therapy (BHRT) including testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) is the use of hormones that are structurally identical to the hormones in your body. BHRT dosing is customized to you, carefully monitored and studies indicate reduced risk vs synthetic HRT.
Doesn’t increased levels of testosterone cause prostate cancer?
Remarkably, it appears that the opposite is true – lower levels of endogenous testosterone present a greater risk for prostate cancer than higher levels.20-23
How to Get Started?
All Patients start with a Naturopathic Initial visit. One of our highly skilled Naturopathic Doctors will meet with you for your initial consultation to review your goals, lifestyle, hormones, nutrition and medical needs providing you with a head-to-toe medical evaluation and lab work as indicated. They will then recommend a customized plan that is designed to promote hormone optimization. You can choose to be supported in your hormone health with natural remedies or therapies that your Naturopathic Doctor can recommend OR you can be referred to one of our Bio-identical (BHRT) prescribing practitioners for BHRT care–either the Women’s Revive H or the Men’s Revive T BHRT program. The prescriptions by our Nurse Practitioners or Medical Doctors include Bio-identical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT), Natural Desiccated Thyroid (NDT) & Testosterone Therapy (TRT).
