Water Infusions
Water infusions, often referred to as infused water or fruit-infused water, involve steeping fruits, vegetables, herbs, and spices in water to enhance its flavor and add potential health benefits.
Want a refreshing twist on plain old water ?. Infuse your H2O! Infused waters are easy to make, nutritious and healthy! Simply start with reverse osmosis filtered water, then use any fresh vegetables, fruit, herbs, and spices to turn your once plain water into a refreshing, flavored drink. Here are a few options to get you started!
Benefits of Water Infusions
- Hydration: Infused water can be a more appealing way to stay hydrated compared to plain water, encouraging you to drink more fluids throughout the day.
- Enhanced Flavor: Adding fruits, herbs, or spices can make water tastier without adding sugars or calories, making it easier to enjoy and drink regularly.
- Nutrient Boost: Depending on what you add, infused water can provide vitamins and minerals. For example, citrus fruits like lemons and limes are good sources of vitamin C.
- Antioxidants: Many fruits and herbs used in infusions contain antioxidants, which can help protect the body from oxidative stress and may reduce the risk of chronic diseases.
- Reduced Sugar Intake: Infused water can serve as a healthy alternative to sugary beverages like soda and juice, helping to reduce overall sugar consumption.
- Supports Digestion: Certain infusions, such as those with mint or ginger, may help with digestion and alleviate issues like bloating.
- Potential Weight Loss Aid: Some studies suggest that drinking water, including infused water, can help with weight management by promoting a feeling of fullness and reducing calorie intake.
- Detoxification: Infused water can help support kidney function and encourage the elimination of toxins from the body, although it’s important to note that our bodies naturally detoxify.

- Enjoy as-is or refrigerate overnight for maximum flavor.
